We are launching a new Coach Agency as a key element of our London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Legacy programme. The Agency will create a career structure for coaches, provide high quality coaching and help increase participation in sport.
The Agency will support the recruitment, employment and deployment of high quality sports coaches with funding secured from Sport England over three years to develop the Agency under a social enterprise model.
We need a Business Manager to lead the development of this national pilot project and develop further sporting enterprises in the future. Responsible for leading the team, developing and implementing sales and marketing policies and plans you will be critical to the success of the Agency. You will have experience of operating within a commercial environment and experience in the sport sector would be an advantage but is not essential.
At the heart of the Agency will be a team of high quality full time and part time Coaches and Senior Coaches who will deliver a range of engaging and inclusive programmes. This team will be supported by a Head of Coaching who will plan innovative curricula and provide mentoring support and a Coaching Coordinator to administer the agency and liaise with customers regarding the deployment of the team.

You will lead the implementation of elements of the Partnership’s work, guide NGB’s and local partners to manage development through multi-agency plans, developing our sports clubs, schools and talented athletes.
